WOODBRIDGE, VA, March 19, 2025 — On Wednesday, March 18, Prince William Water recognized 26 local high school students during its 2026 Water Art Invitational Awards Ceremony. Hosted at Unity Reed High School, the event was attended by student artists, their families, teachers and event sponsors.

WOODBRIDGE, Va., March 12, 2026 —Prince William Water has earned the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure’s Envision Silver Award for a major infrastructure project at its water reclamation facility in Woodbridge. The Envision Award recognizes significant progress in sustainability, resiliency and community-focused design.

The National Environmental Achievement Award from the National Association of Clean Water Agencies recognizes member agencies for innovative public education efforts about the environmental impacts of wastewater treatment and pollution control.

Each episode will include interviews with Prince William Water team members, answer common customer questions and highlight ways to protect our regional water resources.

Prince William Water is hosting its annual Trick or Treatment on Saturday, October 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held at the H.L. Mooney Advanced Wastewater Reclamation Facility, 1851 Rippon Boulevard, in Woodbridge. 

(Woodbridge, VA - August 13, 2025) – Prince William Water has once again received national recognition for excellence in wastewater treatment and regulatory compliance. The H.L. Mooney Advanced Water Reclamation Facility (AWRF) has received the Platinum 16 Peak Performance Award from the National Association of Clean Water Agencies for 16 consecutive years of 100% permit compliance with federal and state wastewater treatment standards.
