WOODBRIDGE, Va., April 7, 2026 — Prince William Water is accepting applications for its 2026 Water Academy. This award-winning, three-session educational program is designed for adults and rising high school seniors who live, work or study in Prince William County. 

The program offers an immersive learning experience that includes a look at the science and technology behind water and wastewater treatment, the opportunity to engage with Prince William Water’s leadership team, and a behind-the-scenes tour of the H.L. Mooney Advanced Water Reclamation Facility. The program includes presentations about the value of water, source water protection, environmental stewardship and tips for Prince William Water customers.

Sessions are scheduled for 5 to 7:30 p.m. on the following dates, with dinner available as early as 4:30 p.m.: 

  • Thursday, June 25, at the H.L. Mooney Advanced Water Reclamation Facility, Woodbridge. 
  • Wednesday, July 1, at the Raymond Spittle Building, Woodbridge. 
  • Wednesday, July 8, at the Raymond Spittle Building, Woodbridge.
