  • Deeds and Legal Documents

    March 27, 2025

    While we are now doing business as Prince William Water, our legal name remains Prince William County Service Authority. As a result, all deeds, plats, agreements and other legal documents must retain the use of the legal name Prince William County Service Authority. Please do not make any changes to the templated portions of our legal documents before consulting with our team. You can reach Development Manager Samantha Kearney at 703-335-7925 or skearney@pwwater.org for questions.

     

  • New Manhole Lid Casting

    March 18, 2025

    Suppliers will need to begin to supply manhole lids in accordance with the 2025 Utility Standard Manual Details S-15 and S-16.  Prince William Water will permit the use of the older manhole lids until January 1, 2026, to allow the existing stock to be used and to transition to the new manhole lid without creating supply disruptions.

    The Prince William Water Utility Standards Manual has been updated and will be effective for all development plans submitted on or after March 1, 2025.

  • New Prince William Water Standard Plan Sheet

    February 3, 2025

    Prince William Water has a new Standard Plan Sheet. The revised Sheet has replaced the Data Center Meter Schedule with an Industrial User Meter Schedule in accordance with the new Industrial User Customer Classification.  This updated Sheet is to be included in all new site and subdivision plan submissions

  • Access Agreements for Secure Facilities

    October 26, 2023

    All site plan submittals that propose public water and/or sanitary sewer facilities within a secured area are required to provide a completed and signed Access Agreement prior to plan approval. The Prince William Water Omnibus Access Agreement template can be used to submit the agreement.

  • Private Sanitary Sewer Main Plan Review Requirements, Administrative Procedures, Inspections and Fees

    April 24, 2023

    All private sanitary sewer main is reviewed and inspected by Prince William Water and services rendered for private sanitary sewer are subject to applicable Prince William Water fees.

  • Submittal Update: Infill Lot Grading Plans

    February 2, 2023

    Prince William Water has coordinated with the Prince William County Environmental Management Division to create a separate Infill Lot Grading Plan/Geotechnical Report Transmittal, effective March 1, 2023.

  • Utility Standards Manual Updated

    October 31, 2022

    The Prince William Water Utility Standards Manual has been updated and will be effective for all development plans submitted on or after November 1, 2022.

  • Plan Submissions

    September 13, 2022

    Prince William Water has created a new email account to receive plan submissions. Plan submissions are to be sent to engineeringsubmissions@pwwater.org where they will be received by the Engineering Technician and logged in for review.

    Please allow for 10 business days for review of plan submissions. 

  • Prince William Water Standard Plan Sheets

    Prince William Water has updated its Information Sheets. Engineers can complete the Prince William Water Information Sheets in either CAD or Excel file format.  The first Information Sheet contains general information. The second Information Sheet includes the sanitary sewer design table, lateral schedule, and space to place USM details.
