WOODBRIDGE, Va., March 24, 2026 — Prince William Water will begin its annual water system flushing program on Monday, March 30, as part of its ongoing commitment to delivering clean, fresh and reliable drinking water to customers. The program will continue through May 4.

The National Environmental Achievement Award from the National Association of Clean Water Agencies recognizes member agencies for innovative public education efforts about the environmental impacts of wastewater treatment and pollution control.

Prince William Water is hosting its annual Trick or Treatment on Saturday, October 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held at the H.L. Mooney Advanced Wastewater Reclamation Facility, 1851 Rippon Boulevard, in Woodbridge. 

(Woodbridge, VA - August 13, 2025) – Prince William Water has once again received national recognition for excellence in wastewater treatment and regulatory compliance. The H.L. Mooney Advanced Water Reclamation Facility (AWRF) has received the Platinum 16 Peak Performance Award from the National Association of Clean Water Agencies for 16 consecutive years of 100% permit compliance with federal and state wastewater treatment standards.
