Prince William Water offers a variety of community programs and educational resources freely available to the public. 

  • For an opportunity to dive deeper into Prince William Water and the water industry, join the summer Water Academy program. This three-session interactive series invites Prince William Water customers, teachers, environmental professionals, HOA leaders and interested citizens to learn about the science behind water treatment, the challenges of water reclamation and how everyone can be an environmental ambassador.

  • Free guided tours of the H.L. Mooney Advanced Water Reclamation Facility (AWRF) in Woodbridge are available for groups of five or more, Monday-Friday, for those aged 10 and older. Please note that current construction activities at the Mooney AWRF facility may impact tour availability. 
  • Self-guided tours of the educational exhibit at the Durward E. Grubbs, Jr. Environmental Center are available for visitors of all ages Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

  • For younger learners, our H2Go Kids online learning hub offers educational activities, experiments, videos and more to help kids learn about the exciting world of water! 
  • Our H2Go Kids Classroom offers SOL-aligned lesson plans for students in kindergarten through Grade 6.
  • Finally, our website and YouTube channel feature educational videos about the environment, water treatment and water reclamation. These resources are a fun and engaging way to introduce children to these important topics and reinforce them for adults!
