Woodbridge, VA — October 30, 2025 — Prince William Water is launching a quarterly video podcast, "Behind the Tap," which offers an inside look at Prince William County’s largest water and wastewater utility. Each episode will include interviews with Prince William Water team members, answer common customer questions and highlight ways to protect our regional water resources.

"Behind the Tap" will provide a deeper understanding of what it takes to deliver one of life’s most essential resources as well as insights into the infrastructure and environmental stewardship that support our water systems.

The first podcast episode features an interview with Deputy General Manager/Chief Administrative Officer Ari Nelson about the national Imagine a Day Without Water campaign. She discusses Prince William Water’s focus on reliability, responsiveness and infrastructure to ensure quality water service in Prince William County.

“We’re excited to connect with our customers and our community in a new way through this podcast,” said Kathy Bentz, Director of Communications & Community Engagement at Prince William Water and the podcast host. “We want to demystify the complex work behind delivering clean water and reclaiming wastewater for over 380,000 people in Prince William County.”
