WOODBRIDGE, Va., Jan. 8, 2026 — The latest episode of Prince William Water’s “Behind the Tap” gives customers an inside look at the utility’s mission and operations. The new episode features General Manager/CEO Calvin D. Farr Jr., P.E, who discusses the One Water framework and what it means for Prince William Water.

“Traditionally, in the water industry, we separated water into categories like drinking water, wastewater, stormwater or groundwater, but now it's more about One Water. We have to understand that they're all connected,” said Farr during the podcast interview. “One Water to me is really all about collaboration. We all have to be a part of managing our valuable water resources.”

In the podcast, Farr also highlights career opportunities at Prince William Water and addresses timely topics, including the proper disposal of fats, oils and grease (FOG); smart salt use during winter; and seasonal water main breaks.

“Water connects us all, and through our Behind the Tap podcast, we’re bringing that connection to life. We want our community to see the dedication and innovation behind every drop of water they use and feel empowered to protect this vital resource for generations to come,” said Farr.

The episode is available now at www.princewilliamwater.org/behind-the-tap. You can also find it on YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts. New episodes will be released quarterly.
