WOODBRIDGE, Va., Feb. 26, 2026 — Prince William Water has received a national award for its recently redesigned website, www.PrinceWilliamWater.org. The National Environmental Achievement Award from the National Association of Clean Water Agencies recognizes member agencies for innovative public education efforts about the environmental impacts of wastewater treatment and pollution control.
Prince William Water launched its updated website in June 2024 as part of its rebranding and a broader initiative to enhance the customer experience. The redesigned website features a clean, modern layout with improved navigation, enhanced accessibility, and new tools such as an AI-based chatbot and Report a Problem form. The site launched in tandem with the new Prince William Water mobile app.
“This national award is a testament to our team’s incredible work and our culture of innovation, environmental stewardship and customer-first focus,” said Calvin D. Farr, Jr., P.E., General Manager and CEO. “Our website is a significant part of the customer experience and is sometimes a customer’s primary way to connect with their water utility.”
